...wintery autumn, breakfast and observing people

This is climate change on its feet. Just this morning, getting up from my bed was a struggle. The cold and frosty morning has again, made its way to the crazy Victorian weather. As much as I would want to stay longer, I didn’t have much choice but to get up and show up at the early best wishes/send off breakfast to one of our friends at work. Being early this time was a bad thing as I have to wait outside freezing for the cafĂ© to open. Wintery in Autumn...boom!!!

Anyway, as usual, I over estimated my cravings to heavy breakfast. I was wrong in having Canadian Pancakes and espresso. I was like a sumo wrestler trying to finish my allotment. The servings were so big and the syrup was so sweet. So next time; no more Canadian Pancakes.

It was also nice to see people under pressure at work. I should say, that was a very good opportunity to see the person’s character. Some remained cool and some just went berserk. I just can’t imagine some as they’ve been working like almost all of their life and having seen them went wild, was such a surprise. At least, it was a good learning experience.

...am I narcoleptic?

I didn’t have much for the past weeks but it felt like I’m going to drop. As soon as I arrive from work, my body would just tend to attract itself to my bed. Worse, I even tend to sleep in between tasks. Though I could do my tasks efficiently, I just don’t like to be caught sleeping. I hope I’m not getting narcoleptic.

Anyway, this is so 10 days but I just can’t stop myself from admiring my heroes in music. Metallica was inducted at the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and the best thing about it, Jason, who left in 2001, came back playing with the boys. 2 bassists on the stage and rocked the show like they’re just starting their career. Flea also did a great speech inducting the band and pretty much, he had summarized every fan’s admiration. Who says rockers can’t make sense?

*Videos: Flea's induction speech. Ray Burton (Cliff's Dad), Jason Newsted, Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield's speeches.

Band Performaces: Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman and "Train Kept A Rollin'", with RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS' Flea, LED ZEPPELIN's Jimmy Page, AEROSMITH's Joe Perry and Jeff Beck

So, Happy Easter (again this is so 2 days ago) and I hope to be back to my usual self.

...back from Melbourne

I just got back from a sweet weekend in Melbourne and it was such a blessing having some friends on that side of the state. As usual, the food and the accommodation just made my stay much easier.

Anyway, it was also nice to see Cheryl with her family, celebrating her son’s 1st birthday. As expected, the food was great, especially the cake. The kids were also great and it was such a delight playing with them. I also had some beating from one of the kids as what I thought to be just playful turned out to be a tantrum thrown out on me. This is what I call, jackpot.
