What a weekend?!

I just got from a very busy weekend.

First, my mama got a trip to the hospital. She got “Type 1 Allergy” and I’m just glad she was able to get out of the ordeal. The doctor was surprised that she recovered so fast. Mama is the Wolverine. Hehe. It was also costly but thanks to the medical benefits I got for her.

Second is the 1st Davao Beach Frisbee Tourney. It was a great way to end the summer. Even though we weren’t able to win the tournament, it left me with a very great smile. It was all fun and very positive. The downside, I got myself a “Sports Induced Asthma”. What in blue hell was that?

I’m so much embarrassed having some superiors who are greedily selfish.

Well, I was tasked to canvass new computer units for the office so I printed and faxed canvass form to suppliers. As expected, I purchased the computers from the supplier who always gives the lowest price who happens to be my friend because of the smooth business relation that we had for years.

The thing was, my friend “texted” me if I could get the check for her because she was downstairs having her parking and she was on a hurry for her next schedule. As I did the thing for her, the lady from our office just told me if my friend could go upstairs to get the check. What happened to be fast, ended up light years of waiting

8 pm, the same day, my friend called me about what happened. The reason of her staying was she was asked if I get commissions from the purchases that I made from her company… “That the commissions should be given to the cooperative and not to the individuals”.

I totally freaked out as I was very honest with what I’m doing with my work. It just happens that my friend usually gives the lowest price and if not, negotiates to have the least we could get. Since I’m tasked to do the recommendations, it would be normal for me to recommend someone whom I know the best there is and convenient on my part if something might happen with the units I purchased. If they have to check me, they could just ask the canvass forms and do some “interrogation”.

Well, their conversation ended up when my superior asked for a calculator with specifics. That the calculator should have big digits and the keys should be clear enough for her vision. What was that for? I was totally embarrassed having her as my superior. If she couldn’t give the dignity for the cooperative, she might as well spare some for herself. I should have known earlier so I could save some for her calculator. Anyway, what’s Php 300.00 compared to the dignity for the cooperative and for herself.

I would be very glad to explain my side and slap all the documents to their faces. Maybe they have been doing commissions on their official transactions. That would be the bluest hell.

It’s Saturday, I’m here at work and the STDs are having their game at the beach. *sigh.

I know how fun it is to play the Ultimate but having it on the beach would be the best. The sand, the wind and the waters would just get the adrenalin pumping.

Too bad, I still have to wait for the Tourney just to have them all.

Friday, May 12, 2006 and getting mushy

Last night’s game was a blast. It was fun and we were able to know our thing on the game. I was able to play handler and mid. My throws were the worst. My shoulder hurts and I’m having shinsplints.

It was also a fine night to be with my crush. *sigh. She’s just a sweetheart.

Stupid Girls

Some girls are stupid. When they are praised, they would say, “Ayaw panganchaw ba”,”Inawayon ka lagi”, “Buta ka?”

But when I tried being “honest”, they tend to react like I’m the worst.

...not again

It’s Saturday, 5:37 in the afternoon and I’m starting to feel empty again. *sigh

I just hate the thought of getting through this. I have asked some friends and done so many things just to get out from it. I really don’t know how to erase such a thing from me.

I’ll be with my friends later and I hope it could help me forget this.

M:I-3 with STDs

After the game, I watched M:I-3 with some of the Ultimate STDs. We were somewhat tired but we never cared about tomorrow just to experience this movie.

It was somewhat organized as Jenny had bought all the tickets for all who confirmed over her text. We had covered the last full show and we just devoured for some available junk food we could buy just to squeeze dinner and the movie.

We had occupied the front seat row and watching was like kissing the wall. Our heads were fastened like having a roller coater ride. The aircon was not that cool.

The stunts were somewhat great at it amazed some of the viewers. If only Filipinos were that good in handling the cameras and storylines, we might have done better during the glory days of Dante Varona, Lito Lapid, FPJ, Erap and all of the Filipino action greats and pioneered Matrix-like action scenes. I have seen all of Tom Cruise’s moves in them. Tom Cruise had copied them all.

T.V. Appearance

The Ultimate South Team Davao was invited by ABS-CBN for a T.V. interview for their regional show, Maayong Buntag Mindanao, live at 6:30 AM, May 4, 2006.

It was me, Francis and Joyce who represented the group. It was short but a nice thing to share the fun to all of the people who might want to try the sport. We were asked with simple yet precise questions. It was funny because we were all looking at the monitor while the interview was done. We were somewhat conscious and the footage that was played during the interview was very funny. We just can’t help but suppress our laugh.

It was a fun experience.
