"Disgusting" Filipino eating habits

Hmm, I read an article about a Filipino being punished by a local Canadian school principal, Norman Bergeron, because of Filipino’s table etiquette…eating with spoon and fork.

Well, let me start with…PUTANG INA MO. I just can’t believe a principal like you to do such a thing. Should everyone in Canada eat the way Canadian’s eat? It’s such a shame for a “HIGHLY CIVILIZED Canadian Principal” like you in pinning down my kababayan with such a rule.

Who are you to tell them the way they should eat? Is there really a thing on how Canadian’s eat? Is it really a rule for immigrants to eat the way they should eat? How do Canadian’s eat anyway? Do you eat through munching your ass? Or do you eat through your nose?

I just can’t believe that bigotry still exist at this time at a society like Mr. Bergeron’s. It is clear that he hasn’t read or traveled away from his place to know things like cultural diversity and respect of culture. I myself eat with spoon and fork and sometimes with my bare hands. Just like Chinese and other East Asian neighbors eat with chopsticks and some Europeans with knife and fork. If eating with spoon and fork is disgusting, does eating with chopsticks or whatever tools you have count? Maybe Mr. Bergeron should be added on the list.

I just find it disturbing for a principal like Mr. Bergeron. He should be wiped out from that school to stop his thing of influencing more kids. It’s not having the right table etiquette but the thing of respecting anybody’s culture. And with that, you failed the test.

I'm so excited

It’s Friday and I’m excited for this Sunday’s Frisbee Tournament. I haven’t played for weeks so I just have to get the feel of everything.

I know that there would be new faces so I just have to bring out what’s best of me. It may be worst for some but in blue hell, I’ll give them what’s mine.

*sigh. I’m so excited.

:) hmmmm

Finally, I got myself a new cellphone. I’m happy with it and I’m still trying to get the feel of using it. My old phone has to rest as it had its own set of scars to prove my brutality. It’s almost a working phone.

Anyway, I’m done with all the things for the General Assembly. I’m starting to get my sanity back and I’m very excited to get back into Ultimate. I missed a lot of games and I hope I could still play the last time I did with my friends. I just have to work on my backhand.

...get out

Why do some people satisfy their ego by being someone?

I just find it irritating when they try to satisfy my ego by doing it. I feel like a wolf in a sheep’s wool. I feel like eating them alive as I want them nullified. Worse is, some even tried to get into my things. I just hate the thought of being close with them.

I just want my space so please, you’re only allowed light years away from me.

...somewhat damaged

After days of work, I am somewhat damaged. Damaged from all the tasks and damaged from all the pressures. I just can’t wait to have it all done as I want to regenerate and get my sanity again.

But regenerating to me is getting idle and being idle is somewhat hard for me. This is when I realize how empty my life has been. It’s my trip to my own blue hell.

I float and I get to swim on it as I try to rationalize the emptiness. Questions like “Why I’m having this regularly” and “What’s in me that has to be filled” are the topics of my own Oprah-like conversation with myself.

How I wish it’s like “systems development” that has its own way of getting through all the complications. Where I could handle its ways of solving them and have the desired output. That getting through it would be much easier.

But in blue hell, the least that I could do is cry and have it all out.

...ear bleed

I just got my copy of Kerrang!’s tribute to Metallica’s Master Of Puppets. The bands did a pretty job in getting all the songs. Somewhat good but I’m still on to the original. Its truly one of the best metal albums of all time.

My favorites are Trivium’s Master of Puppets and Machine Head’s Battery

...Getting through

I’m somewhat done with all the things that I am supposed to do for the day. I got all the data that I have to work for tonight and I’m still thinking of ways that has to be done on Sunday.

I have to meet the people who’ll use the program tomorrow afternoon and I have to have all the data uploaded and printed before midnight.

I’m getting the rest of the tasks on its places and so far, everything has been doing great.

I’m also having second thoughts on getting a new cellphone since mine is becoming “Mr. Hyde”. It’s such a headache especially when money is an issue. *sigh

Hmmm, I’m also excited to meet my Ultimate STD friends for a movie tonight. It’ll be great to have them all. We’ll be watching “D’ Lucky Ones”. hehe

Last night’s game was the best so far. I can now throw great forehand and I’m just happy about it.

I was somewhat tired and it’s really hard for me to get into decent sleep.

Anyway, tonight, our team will be watching “D’ Lucky Ones”. It’ll be fun.

Tomorrow’s the start of holidays. It’s a nice thing to regenerate from
all the things that I’ve been lately. I hope I could maximize all the
time that I could get.

Anyway, I want to get more sleep and watch some movies. I also want to
fix my room and try to reflect on things. For next week, back to work
and Ultimate. Yehey!!!

My "Ultimate" Sport

I just can’t imagine how passionate I am with Ultimate. It was because of Shercy’s invitation last Sunday that made me hooked to it. At first I was somewhat hesitant to get into it but when I started to play, it was the greatest feeling I have ever felt. I’m hooked with it.

The running and the passing just makes me want more. I’ve played for 3 days and I noticed how I improved my breathing and my physical condition. Not only that, I’ve meet new friends who are honest and very kind. I’m just glad to have them all.

Ultimate S.T.D.

I was invited by my friend Shercy to play Frisbee with her friends at USEP grounds. Of course, it was a clear “Yes!” from me.

Well, it was fun and met new friends. Some of them were from ROTC days and some were familiar faces.

The game was great and I’m not that fit as I used to. I easily ran out of air as it was agonizing to catch my breath. I guess, I just have to do some jogging.

Anyway, here are some of the pictures and the link to the website.

It seems like everybody is defending nobody. Chess pieces on the loose!
